The Law of Purpose

For some unknown reason, we seem to have adopted the wrong interpretation of the Law of Purpose.  Somewhere down through the centuries, we came to believe that our purpose in life was to come here and make this world a better place.  Tied to this central theme was the idea that your role in making this world a better place was to get an education, get a job, and contribute to society.

Success in this definition was defined by that which was on the outside.  We were fulfilling our purpose in life if we had the physical trappings dictated by society.  Now there is nothing wrong with having things but when our focus is purely on the outer manifestation it takes us in the opposite direction from the original meaning of the Law of Purpose.  It is a direction that takes us away from our innate inner guidance.

Time to instil a little poetry...Awaken

Awaken

Awaken dear people, the choice draws near.
There is no reason to fear.
It is very clear.
Make the choice.
Only love here.

There is no threat in the light.
It is time to shine bright.
The darkness has fear.
Call it out of the closet, and it will not come near.
Where there is light, darkness cannot appear.

Never Look Back...

We all do it.  When something in our life goes wrong or doesn’t work out the way we want it to, we have this compulsion to continually think about.  For some of us, we can become quite obsessed about it.  We talk to other people about it.  We search the internet.  We have intimate dialogues in our head as we analyze it.  Rationalize it.  Defend our behaviours.  We even have imaginary conversations with those individuals who we deemed have wronged us. Round and round we go.

It doesn’t matter whether it is a failed relationship, a job loss, a dismal health prognosis, the death of someone or even a stupid argument; we as humans have this need to troll through our memory banks searching for the answers. Why did this happen to me?  What could I have done differently?  When did this chain of pain begin?

Time to Reprogram Your Beliefs

We come into this world a clean slate and over time we are conditioned and programmed with other people’s beliefs, judgements, superstitions and prejudices.  By the time we hit our teenage years; these programs have become firmly entrenched in our mind and influence not only our thinking, but also our behaviours and perceptions.  Since they are so deeply embedded in us, most people rarely understand how these false premises are affecting them in adulthood.

One of the most detrimental beliefs prevalent within our world is that of conditional love.  Most of us we grew up being told, “I will love you only if...” Words that were uttered by our parents or authority figures which implied if we did what we were told we would be loved.  What this belief
