And the evil wish is most evil
to the wisher. -- Hesiod
The
Law of Prosperity states that
when one prospers, all prosper.Your
level of prosperity will be in direct proportion to your responses about
another person’s prosperity.Most people
do not understand that if you are secretly taking private pleasure in another
person’s misfortune or begrudging another person’s prosperity, you are
affecting your own possibilities of generating prosperity.Everything works on vibration. The feelings
of jealousy and resentment you harbor about another’s well-being will keep you
locked into a lower vibrational frequency of lack.Smile upon someone else’s success and good
fortune, and you are smiling upon your own.For example, your friend gets a major job promotion and has now
increased their income into the six figures. They call you, and excitedly tell you all about it.You are so happy for them that you are bursting
at the seams with joy.Your joy in this
other person’s success means that you will also prosper because there is a
vibrational match.
The
opposite happens when you are upset or envious about someone else’s prosperity. In your resentment you create a vibrational
mismatch and you will diminish your prosperity.Let us go back
If there is anything we could change in a
child, we should first examine and see whether it is not something that could
be better changed in ourselves. – Carl Jung
The Law of
Reflection deals with the fact that everything you see is only a mirror
reflection of that which is within you. This
is one of the hardest laws for people to understand and accept because we like
to think that it is outside people or circumstances that are causing us to be
happy or angry.Since everything is
vibration it is you who is attracting these external situations to you.Hence, that individual who irritates you has
come into your life because that is an active vibration within you. That irritable person is mirroring that which
exists within you.
Under the
Law of Reflection you cannot place the blame on any external person, situation
or circumstance.You simply cannot say
that someone makes you angry or irritated if you are not already angry and
irritated within yourself. It is not the
other person who is making you angry. It
is you who is making yourself angry and majority of the time it is because you
are trying to change, control or manipulate a person or situation. In reality, you cannot change the outer until
you deal with the inner.
When working
with the Law of Reflection, it is important to understand that sometimes the
mirror may not be a direct reflection of what is within you.It may be a reflection of your polar
opposite.Such is the case where you are
overly kind and through your kindness, you are continually attract people and
situations that take advantage of your kindness. You may be attracting these people into your
life so that you can see where your kindness is being motivated by your own guilt
or the need to get people to like you.Being
kind in all situations and circumstances is not always an honorable trait for
sometimes we are forgetting to value and appreciate ourselves.
Another
analogy can be seen if you are upset with people begging for money on street
corners. You may be angry because these
individuals are representing some part of yourself that is begging for
something in your life. You may be
begging for recognition from your boss.Perhaps, you are begging for love from your spouse. As a politician, you may be begging for votes
from the electorate.
Everyone and
every circumstance or situation in your life is providing you with the
opportunity to learn something about yourself. It may be a reflection showing some of your more positive traits or it
may be showing you where you need to make some changes. If it is showing you a negative quality, you
will know you have balanced that trait when you no longer have any irritations
with regards to the person or situation.Sometimes when this happens the person will disappear from your
life. They will no longer be a
vibrational match to you.
So, next
time you find you are angry or irritated with someone or a circumstance stop
and ask yourself:What state of being is
this person reflecting about me?Where
in my own life am I exhibiting this behavior? What is it that I do not want to reveal about myself to myself?
Many of my clients
have experienced what I commonly refer to as the monkey mind. It’s when your mind continually rehashes a
problem over and over again.Usually the
subject of these dialogues deals with something in our life that we are not
happy with.It could be a disagreement
with someone. It could be a work, financial
or health situation.Whatever it is that
incessant dialogue in your head won’t stop and the more you tell yourself not to
think about it, the more you think about it. It is called the law of resistance and that which
you resist will persist.
Here is the
reason why we find it difficult to shift our thinking process. Our minds like to be kept busy and are
continually nattering on about something from the past or projecting something
into the future. Our minds do not
operate in the present.
Here is a
simple experiment for you to try. Next time you wake up in the morning lay
there in bed for a few moments. Become aware of your thoughts. What you will discover is your mind will
search for the last thought you had before you fell asleep. The mind always returns to the vibration you
last left it at.So if you fell asleep
thinking about an argument you had with a friend, the mind will return to that
set point to begin your day. This
principle also applies to everyday situations and people.Ever went home to a family reunion and found
yourself acting in ways which were contrary to who you are today? What happened is you went back to the old vibration.
In order for
you modify a thought process you have to understand it takes 17 seconds for a
thought to create a point of attraction. When you hold that thought for 17 seconds
another thought of a similar vibration will join it. If the thinking process is
allowed to continue for 68 seconds then that train of thought becomes your
dominant vibration and attracts to you persons or situations of similar
thought. So if the thoughts you are
thinking are positive, change nothing. If they are negative, you have to shift to another train of thoughts and
hold that thought stream for at least 68 seconds.
So how do
you shift to another train of thoughts? First you have to recognize that you
have to work at it.You can’t just do it
once and expect your life to change. The
mind is extremely stubborn and once it gets hold of something it is like a dog
chasing its tail.
Here are a
few exercises you can try.
1.Give the mind a diversion and go do
something else.Go for a walk.Pet your dog. Go to the movies. Take a nap.Search through YouTube and find something
that makes you laugh.
2.Practice mediation. If you find that your
mind will not shut up while you are trying to meditate focus on a noise in your
environment or use a chant.
3.Think a better feeling thought.Think about someone you love and all the
things you appreciate about them. Think about a beautiful sunset.
4.Write out the letters of the alphabet and
beside each letter think of a good feeling word. For example, a=appreciation,
b=best, c=charming, d=delicious...
5.Another diversion you can do is sing musical
scale or use a non-descript phrase or sound.
Next post I
show you how your beliefs affect your life.
We live in a vibrational
universe and everything is energy vibrating at different frequencies around us
and within us. You are more than the
physical body that is sitting on that chair. At this moment you are probably thinking, “This woman has lost it. Cause
everything looks pretty solid to me.” Yes
everything around you does look pretty solid.
Science, through quantum physics,
is showing us that at the sub-atomic level everything is pure energy. All
energy is continually moving and it emits frequency. It is that frequency which creates form. If you were to take a high powered microscope
and look at your hand what you would see are molecules buzzing around.Everything that is physically manifested
vibrates within a certain range of frequency in order for us to perceive
it.What limits us from perceiving
something is the vibrational match in our frequency to something else.
Ever lost your keys and then
found them in the first place you looked? What happened was that your belief in the loss of the keys matched your
vibrational frequency.There were no
fairies of the universe that mysteriously hide them.Instead your perception that you lost your
keys created the experience of not seeing your keys. You could not perceive that which you
believed.You believed your keys were
lost.
Part of the reason for this is
we have been conditioned to only accept information taken in through our five
senses. We have been lead to believe
that if we can’t see, touch, hear, smell or taste it then it does not
exist.Yet all of these senses are just
interpreters of vibration.
Another example of this is when
the explorers came to the Americas. The
Indigenous people kept asking the explorers where they had come from. The explorers kept pointing to the ships that
were anchored in the bay.The more the
explorers pointed to the ships, the more the Indigenous people could not see
them.It was only when the shaman of tribe
became attuned to the vibrational frequency that he could assist the other
members of the tribe to see the ships. In other words, they could not perceive in something that they had never
experienced.
A simpler example which all of
us has experienced is when we are trying to explain something to someone
else.No matter how many ways we try to
explain something the person just doesn’t get it.Many times we will say, ‘they are on a
different wavelength’.What we are actually
saying is the person is not a vibrational match to us.
Your mood or emotions attracts
the experiences that are a reflection of that mood.Ever had one of those days? You wake up and everything seems to be going
wrong from the moment you climb out of bed.You stub your foot as you get out of bed.You spill your coffee. As you brush your teeth you dribble
toothpaste down the front of your shirt. You have a closet full of shirts and
in your haste to get to work you grab the one shirt that is missing a
button. You get out in traffic and you
hit every red light.Someone flips you
the finger in traffic because you didn’t move fast enough through the
intersection and now you are blocking traffic. You stop and get a coffee and manage to get into the line that isn’t
moving. At this point, most people start
thinking, “Can this day get much worse? What else can possibly go wrong?” Well, when you ask a question like that the
universe delivers.And why you ask?
It gets worse because the
vibrational frequency you are emitting acts like an attractor. In essence, it sends out an energy beam from you
and everyone else who is on the same wavelength rendezvous with you.It is the Law of Attraction in action and
basically you get what you give out.
So how do I change my
vibrational frequency?
It is quite easy. You stop reacting to situations and
experiences and start responding.When
you react to situations the internal chatter in your mind usually kicks into
high gear and your thoughts start snowballing.Since most of us were never taught to police our thoughts, we usually
end up going down the negative road. One
thought connects to another thought and the fuel that intensifies our thinking
is our emotions.
Here is an exercise that you try:
The One-Minute Meditation
Throughout the day, stop and
tell yourself to breath. On the inhale,
count to three as you take a long, slow deep breath in and pretend you are
filling a balloon located just below your bellybutton. On the exhale, pretend you are deflating the
balloon and use a count of five.Do this
for one minute or more before you react to something.Or you can practice it anywhere and at
anytime. You can do it in a meeting, the
classroom, on the bus, while sitting at a red light in your car...no one needs
to know what you are doing.Just watch
what happens when do it.You might be
pleasantly surprised and here is the reason.
Your breathing is not only connected to each of
your emotions; it is also affects every other system in your body and
influences your vibrational frequency.Breathing
is the most important body function and most people go through life never
giving it a second thought.Yet if you
learn to control it; it can become one of your greatest allies in the
manifestation process.
There are two parts to your breathing, and both
parts should be done through your nose. There is the inhalation and the exhalation. Both affect your well-being.If you are not taking in enough oxygen, you
are not providing your body with the most vital nutrient it needs for its
survival. If you are not exhaling all
the carbon dioxide, you are leaving stale air in your body and not allowing
room for new nutrients to come into your being. The impacts from improper breathing are abundant and can range from:
tense and tighten muscles, constricted blood flow, elevated your heartbeat, a
stimulation of stress hormones within your body and an accumulation of lactic
acid in your muscles. You become a
walking toxin; and you deplete your energy.Learn to breathe properly and you can improve your health and
well-being.
In addition of the proper way to breathe, one
must also be aware that all of your emotions are tied to your breathing
patterns.For instance, get angry your
breathing becomes faster.Become relaxed
and your breathing slows down.Get
depressed, your breathing gets heavy.Become anxious and your breathing is in short quick breaths.Through altering your breathing patterns you
can increase or diminish your vibrational frequency.
Enough for today…next time I will show you how
the thoughts you are thinking affect what you attract into your life.
